I was born in Texarkana, TX to my mother Sarah and my Father Steve. My father was raised on a farm in east Texas and was a diesel mechanic while I was growing up. He instilled in me the importance of a hard days work and how satisfying it is to put quality in your work when you look back on what you have done. I have kept that very important to me that I be satisfied with my work, and my customers be satisfied with it as well. My mother is a very gregarious person, and she taught me how to make people laugh and listen to their life stories and viewpoints. She helped me to be a good listener and that is very important when dealing with people that have a disability. I have lived in Texas most of my life but did some growing up in Oklahoma and Arkansas along the way. In 2005 I married my wife Colleen, who is a feisty little firecracker that keeps me in line even though she is 5’0″ tall. In 2009 my daughter Alice was born, who is the light of my life. I think I have learned more from being a father than any other job I have ever had, and she always surprises me with her insight and viewpoint on how the world works. To me the most important thing in my life is my God, who has taught me since I was little to be humble and respectful to everyone no matter what their race, age, monetary status, or disposition. I joined the San Antonio Hearing centers in 2009 and have been dealing with Hearing loss ever since. I have learned from Larry and Debby Taylor how to connect people back into their jobs, and most importantly their families, while comforting them about their disability. It makes my day every time I hear a patient say that they can hear their grand kids now, or that they can hear their wife or husband now, because good communication is so important in a family!
